Tenders are invited for Consultant for Partner Mapping in Jordan, Lebanon, and Syria Closing Date: 26 Jan 2025 Background: ActionAid Arab Region (AAAR) is committed to fostering social justice, gender equality, and poverty eradication through partnerships and collaborations with local organizations, movements, and stakeholders. To enhance our strategic engagements and expand our impact, we aim to conduct a comprehensive partner mapping exercise in Jordan, Lebanon, and Syria. This initiative will identify and assess potential partners across sectors, focusing on alignment with ActionAids values and programmatic priorities. Objective The primary objective of this consultancy is to map existing and potential partners in Jordan, Lebanon, and Syria, providing actionable insights and recommendations to strengthen AAARs partnerships and programmatic outreach. Scope of Work The consultant will: 1. Mapping Existing Partners Identify and document all current partners of AAAR in Jordan Lebanon, and Syria, including NGOs, community-based organizations, and other stakeholders. Assess their current contributions, alignment with AAARs strategic priorities, and areas for development. 2. Identifying Potential Partners Research and identify potential organizations and movements for partnership based on AAARs thematic focus areas, including youth led and focused organizations , Focusing on Employment, gender equality, climate justice,. Highlight organizations working with marginalized and vulnerable groups, ensuring inclusivity and diversity. 3. Stakeholder Analysis Conduct a detailed analysis of each potential partner, including: * Organizational capacity and expertise. * Geographic focus and reach. *Alignment with AAARs values and principles. 4. Partnership Opportunities and Recommendations Provide actionable recommendations for engaging with identified partners. 5. Develop a Comprehensive Partner Database Create a user-friendly database that includes all mapped partners with detailed profiles, contact information, and relevant findings. Deliverables 1. An inception report detailing the methodology, work plan, and tools to be used. 2. A comprehensive partner mapping report covering: Existing and potential partners. Stakeholder analysis. Recommendations for partnerships and collaboration. 3. A database of all mapped partners, with detailed profiles and key insights. 4. A presentation summarizing findings and recommendations for AA AR leadership and program teams. Timeframe The consultancy is expected to be completed within 4 weeks from the date of signing the contract. The Consultants should ideally be based in one of the Countries mentioned above and may apply either for mapping exercises in a single country or multiple countries. The consultants should clearly mention which country they are making applications for. ActionAid reserves the right to select organizations either for a single country or all countries separately. The consultants are thus advised to quote their fees for individual country. Resources: Once consultants are identified, ActionAid will agree with the selected Consultant/s detailed ToR.
