Construction Work – Lapely Acting 29 Tornio Bridge Renovation, Ku. Tornio Bridge L-1614 Is Located In Tornio On Highway 29, Crossing The Tornionjoki River. The Bridge Is A Steel Continuous Girder Bridge With A Reinforced Concrete Deck. The Total Length Of The Bridge Is 318 M And The Useful Width Is 17.5 M. The Bridge Is Grounded On Six Reinforced Concrete Supports. The Bridge Was Completed In 1979. In The Bridge Renovation Contract, The Deck Structure Will Be Renewed In 2 Stages During The Years 2025 And 2026. In Addition, The Ground And Intermediate Supports Of The Bridge Will Be Renovated. Road Lighting And Bearings Will Be Renewed. There Is Also An Option Item In The Contract Where The Support For District Heating Is Renewed. The Customer Decides On The Implementation Of Option Items Before The Contract Review. In The Construction Plans, The Construction Works Are Defined In Their Entirety, Including All Road Arrangements, Equipment And Devices. The Design Of The Traffic Control Plans And The Implementation Of The Traffic Controls Are Included In The Contract. Traffic Control Plans Must Be Approved By The Customer. The Agreement Is Valid Until 31 December 2026. The Contract Is Concluded With One (1) Contractor. The Contract Content And Contract Areas Are Defined In More Detail In The Tender Documents.
