Request For Quotationsspecifications Of Goods And Scope Of Servicesthe Contractor Shall Furnish All Necessary Labour, Materials, Supplies, And Transportation Necessary To Meet Contract Requirements And Remove Large Areas (Estimated To Be ≫10M2) Of Himalayan Blackberry. The Removal Of Plants Will Be Done By Hand Using Non-Motorized Or Motorized Hand Tools.The Services Include The Manual Removal Of Himalayan Blackberry By Pulling Or Digging Out The Entire Plant. This Is Sometimes Done In Combination With Using Motorized Hand Tools Such As Brush-Saws To Cut Down Taller Plants First And Then Pulling The Entire Plant Out Of The Ground Including Its Roots.On Each Visit The Contractor Is Responsible For The Removal And Disposal Of Plant Litter Debris To Be Disposed Of Off-Site In An Acceptable Manner. The City Will Provide Dump Sites For Vegetation Cuttings Off-Site.The List Of Sites Requiring Work Will Be Provided By The City And Will Vary In Size (Estimated To Be ≫10M2), Terrain, Site Conditions, Etc. Sites May Have Limited Access And May Require Traversing Through Vegetation Over Uneven Terrain For Significant Distances To Access.Addendaif The City Determines That An Amendment Is Required To This Rfq, The City Representative Will Issue A Written Addendum By Posting It On The Bc Bid Website At Www.Bcbid.Gov.Bc.Ca And The City Website At Www.Surrey.Ca (Collectively, The “Websites”), And Upon Posting, Any Addenda Will Form Part Of This Rfq. It Is The Responsibility Of Contractors To Check The Websites For Addenda. The Only Way This Rfq May Be Added To, Or Amended In Any Way, Is By A Formal Written Addendum. No Other Communication, Whether Written Or Oral, From Any Person Will Affect Or Modify The Terms Of This Rfq Or May Be Relied Upon By Any Contractor. By Delivery Of A Quotation, The Contractor Is Deemed To Have Received, Accepted And Understood The Entire Rfq, Including Any And All Addenda.All Inquiries Related To This Rfq Should Be Directed In Writing To Purchasing@Surrey.Ca.
