Air-Rescue Services – Tender Procedure For The Operation Of A Christoph Ortenau Rescue Helicopter At The Lahr Location. The Client Intends To Re-Contract The Implementation Of Air Rescue At The Lahr Location For The Period From July 1, 2026 To June 30, 2041 (15 Years). The Implementation Of Air Rescue Is To Be Carried Out As An Emergency Rescue Task. The Service To Be Awarded Includes • The Provision Of A Suitable Rescue Helicopter And The Necessary Medical-Technical Equipment For The Operation Of The Rth Christoph Ortenau At The Lahr Location Daily From Sunrise (7:00 A.M. At The Earliest) To Sunset Plus 30 Minutes; • The Provision Of The Helicopter Pilots, Emergency Doctors And Hems-Tc Necessary And Suitable For The Operation Of The Rth; • The Provision Of An Interim Air Rescue Center On The Grounds Of Lahr Airport From July 1, 2026 Until The Regular Air Rescue Center Is Completed; • The Implementation Of Primary And Secondary Operations (“Dual-Use Model”) In Accordance With The Relevant Legal And Administrative Regulations. Note: Business And Cargo Flights Are Currently Being Operated At Lahr Airport, Fritz-Rinderspacher-Straße 5, 77933 Lahr/Black Forest. As A Result, Although The Permits Required To Carry Out Air Rescue Exist, There Is Still No Infrastructure For An Air Rescue Center. This Will Be Built Over The Course Of The Contract Period By An Investor, In Collaboration With The Operator Of The Landing Site And The Large District Town Of Lahr, And Will Then Be Made Available To The Concessionaire On A Rental Basis.
