Request for proposals for Partnerships with International and Local NGOs to Collaborate in Achieving its Strategic Goal of Improving Access to Quality Education for Underprivileged Communities through the Implementation of Educational Infrastructure Projects Call for Partnerships / Proposals - Education Closing Date: Monday, 31. Mar 2025 Intervention Sector(s): Education, Social & Cultural Development, Sports & Recreation GIV-E (Giving to Education) is primarily a self-funded, Lebanese, non-profit organization dedicated to developing sustainable projects to improve access to quality education for underprivileged communities in line with SDG 4: Quality Education. Our mission is to provide tangible and long-lasting solutions that address educational challenges by focusing on infrastructure development. We aim to enhance access to quality education through: Equipping with resources public and private educational institutions. Implementing community-focused educational projects. To date, we have successfully completed two computer lab projects, equipping students with essential digital skills and resources. Additional initiatives, such as solar PV installations and sports grounds, are currently under study, aiming to transform education through sustainable infrastructure. Our projects address real-world needs by bridging educational gaps in underserved regions, upgrading critical infrastructure to ensure reliable and uninterrupted learning, and fostering holistic student well-being through recreational development. By promoting digital access, sustainable energy, and community-focused spaces, we empower students and communities to grow in an environment that supports quality education and long-term progress. GIV-E is seeking partnerships with international and local NGOs to collaborate in achieving its strategic goal of improving access to quality education for underprivileged communities through the implementation of educational infrastructure projects. Organizations Eligibility Criteria To be considered for this partnership, applicants must meet the following criteria: Strategic Alignment: The applicants mission and strategy must align with GIV-Es strategic objectives. Relevant Experience: Applicants must have proven experience in implementing education initiatives. Legal Status: Applicants must be legally registered in Lebanon and comply with Lebanese laws and regulations. Project Selection Criteria: We are excited to hear about your project and the potential for collaboration. If your idea meets all the criteria listed below, we would be delighted to consider it for review. Our policy is to select projects that align with our mission and governance principles. Examples of projects we may implement include solar-powered facilities that directly enhance the quality of education, sports grounds, tech labs, and more. General Principles for Project Consideration: 1.Goal: The proposal, of infrastructure nature, should be dedicated to accessing (or materially improving access) education or enhancing community educational development. 2.Lasting Impact:Any project must provide and demonstrate lasting solution(s) to a recurrent pressing issue(s). 3.Sustainability: Continued success after the implementation phase is critical to our projects. A detailed plan for covering operating expenses and any other necessary aspects must be presented. 4.Underserved Communities & Wider Reach: The project must serve communities that are most in need. Priority is given to propositions that benefit the largest possible number of recipients. 5.Skin-in-the-game: The recipient must be willing to contribute to the cost of the project through a minimum percentage being financial or in-kind.
