Johar Town Division / 4 Sub Division 67 Scope Of Work Lesco Intends To Improve Safety Environment For Public, Employees And Operational Performance By Awarding Services Contract Against Supply Of Services For Safe Loading, Unloading, Carriage, Handling, Excavation, Installation, Erection, Preparation Of Foundation, Earthing, Back Filling, Testing / Commissioning And Clearance Of Site Of Ht/Lt Steel Structures And Power Control Centre Spun Poles As Per Requirements And In Line To The Wapda/Lesco Approved Specification And Standard Design Instructions Under The Jurisdiction Of Lesco Central Operation Circle To Private Contractors 6 Under The Provisions Of The Power Distribution License Issued By Nepra For Efficient And Safe Network Management And Operations. Methodology; 1. Survey Shall Have To Be Carried Out To Confirm The Location By The Contractor For Erection Of Pole/Structure. Suitable Distance From The Side Of The Road Has To Be Made Towards Placement Of Line Poles. 2. To Optimize The Line Length, The Contractor Shall Spot The Poles In Such A Way So That The Line Is As Close As Possible To The Straight Line Between The Existing Pole Already Installed In The Line. 3. Excavation For Installation Of Any Type Of Pole / Structure Shall Be Carried Out As Per Approved Specification And Standard Design Instruction Of Wapda/Lesco. 4. The Foundations Of Poles Are Important, And The Strength Of The Structure May Be Lost If Proper Attention Is Not Paid To The Shape Of The Hole And The Efficient Reinstatement Of The Soil. 5. It Is Essential That The Replaced Soil Should Be Very Carefully Consolidated. The Soil Should Be Replaced In Small Quantities And Thoroughly Punned As The Hole Is Filled In. Any Stones Removed During The Excavation Should Be Tightly Packed And Rammed At The Butt Of The Pole, And Also Round The Poles Near The Top Of The Hole, So As To Provide An Extended Bearing Surface. Any Turf Removed At The Commencement Of The Excavation Should Be Replaced Neatly 6. The Contractor Shall Install Ht/Lt Line Assembly Material, Danger Plates And Anti Climbing Device On The Pole / Structure Assigned To Be Installed At Specified Location As Per Requirement. 7. All Safety Instruction / Codes As Defined By Nepra/Wapda/Lesco Should Be Complied By The Contractor While Taking Any Assigned Work In Hand. 8. After Completion Of Work At Different Sites, The Contractor Must Maintain The Works Completed Record In Order To Check/Verify The Same During Testing & Inspection By The Lesco Committee. Testing & Inspection; 1. Upon Completion Of The Installation The Contractor Will Submit The Completion Report Of Each And Every Location Of Where Pole / Structure Installed And Committee Constituted Will Verify The Report Submitted By Contractor By Conducting Testing Of Completed Work, Failed Sites Will Be Repeated By The Contractor Until The Satisfaction Of Lesco Authorized Officer Within 10 Days After Intimation By Lesco. 2. The Contractor Shall Furnish All Tools, Instruments, Test Equipment, Materials Etc; And Mobilize All Personnel Required For Carrying Out Complete Testing. 3. The Contractor Shall Record All Test Results And Submit The Same To The Concerned Executive Engineer (O) / Sub Divisional Officer (O) For Record.
