Tenders Are Invited For Furniture (Incl. Office Furniture), Furnishings, Domestic Appliances (Excl. Lighting) And Cleaning Products – Procurement Of Bulk Furniture For The Main Library / Shelf Furniture
Furniture (Incl. Office Furniture), Furnishings, Domestic Appliances (Excl. Lighting) And Cleaning Products – Procurement Of Bulk Furniture For The Main Library / Shelf Furniture. The Subject Of The Procurement Is The Purchase Of Furniture For The Main Library Of The City Of Uusikaupunki (Hereinafter Also The Procurement Unit) In Terms Of Shelf Furniture. This Request For Tender Concerns The Purchase Of Library Shelving Furniture As Described In The Tender Request Appendices. The Procurement Of Other Furniture For The Library Will Be Tendered Separately Later. The Purchase Includes The Actual Furnishing And Delivery. The Procurement Has Not Been Divided Into Parts. The Procurement Unit Selects One (1) Bidder As The Contract Supplier, With Whom The Procurement Contract Will Be Concluded. The Products To Be Procured Are Described In More Detail In The Tender Request And Its Attachments. The Purchase Quantities Presented In The Tender Documents Are Estimates, And The Contract Does Not Constitute A Quantity Purchase Obligation For The Customer. As An Option, The Purchasing Unit Reserves The Right To Order Products As An Additional Purchase 15% Above The Total Value Of The Purchase If Necessary. Additional Products Can Be Ordered, For Example, To Replace, Supplement And/Or Expand The Delivered Product Range. The Possibility Of Additional Procurement Is A Right, Not An Obligation, Of The Procurement Unit. The Selected Supplier Does Not Have The Exclusive Right To Deliver Products To The Procurement Unit. Uusikaupunkis Main Library Is In Emergency Rooms During The Renovation Of The Old Library Building. The Renovation Of Uusikaupunkis Main Library Is Estimated To Be Completed In March-April 2025, When The Main Library Will Move From The Sheltered Premises Back To The Old Library Building. The Planned Delivery Time Of The Furniture Delivery Is After The Contract Is Completed. A Procurement Contract Is Created When Both Parties Have Signed The Contract. The Contract Terms Are Described In More Detail In The Contract Model Attached To The Request For Tender. Getting To Know The Target The Procurement Unit Requires That The Bidder Visits The Uusikaupunki Main Library, Which Is The Target Of The Furniture, Before Submitting The Bid. Participation In The Introductory Meeting Is A Prerequisite For Accepting The Offer. The Site Must Be Inspected As Follows: - Uusikaupunki Main Library (Address: Alinenkatu 34 3, 23500 Uusikaupunki) - No Later Than 7 Days Before The Deadline For Submitting The Offer - The Time Of Inspection Must Be Agreed With The Contact Person: Site Foreman Henrik Jalonen / Rakennus Lehtonen Oy, Tel. 044 3443801 The Introductory Meeting Does Not Include A Request For Quotation, But Only A Presentation Of The Object. In Addition, Questions Regarding The Request For Tenders Put Forward By The Bidders Will Not Be Answered At The Familiarization Meeting. Possible Questions Should Be Asked In Accordance With The Procedure Presented In The Additional Questions Section.
