Software Development Services – Development Of An Electronic Logbook Information System (E-Logbook). The Object Of The Commissioned Project Is The Design And Development Of An Information System For Navigation For The Digital Transformation Of The Logbook, As Well As The Digital Logbook By Combining The Digitization Of All Actions Related To The Logbook Through An Online Application, The Development Of Connections And Interoperability With Third-Party Systems, As Well As The Development Of An Administrative Information System. Shipping Is The Main Means Of Transporting Goods, Accounting For 90% Of World Trade. It Is One Of The Most Important Industries In Greece, Contributing To More Than 7% Of The Gdp And Offering Over 200,000 Jobs, While Providing Significant Net Inputs To The Greek Economy. A Key Element Of The Maritime Profession, Charting And Charting Remains A Paperless And Time-Consuming Process, Which Constitutes A Significant Administrative Burden In Human Resources And Time. The Need To Simplify And Shorten These Procedures Is Obvious, In Order To Strengthen The Maritime Profession In Greece And Facilitate The Daily Life Of The People Involved In It, While The Interested Parties Must Have An Image Of The Current Seafaring. In Order To Solve These Needs, The Ministry Of Shipping And Island Policy Designed And Created An Important Strategic Project Entitled Development Of An Electronic Logbook System (Henceforth E-Logogy). The Object Of The Project Is The Creation Of A Single Electronic Navigation System For The Overall Recording And Management Of The Details Of The Parties Involved In The Log Of A Ship, As Well As The Creation Of The Digital Navigation Register. The Digital Upgrade Of The Logbook From A Paper-Based Process Aims To Simplify The Logbook Procedures, To Make The Process More Direct And Transparent, While At The Same Time Providing In Real (Or Almost Real) Time Immediate Information About The Logbooks To All Involved Parties And Especially The Auditing Services Of The Public Bodies Involved. The Aim Is – In Addition To The Actions That Users Can Carry Out – In The E-Logbook To Capture The Entire Maritime History Of Each Sailor And His Relations With Each Vessel, Company, As Well As Public Services. In This Way, A Modern And Unified Digital Navigation Register Is Formed, Which Will Be Able To Include A Seamens Register, A Boat Register, A Small Boat Register, A Company Register, As Well As Related Related Information, As It May Arise During The Implementation (As And Interfaced With Third Party Systems, Where Possible). The E-Naufologio Should Also Operate Citizen-Centric And Facilitate The Seafarers Access To The Registered Maritime Service And The Data Related To Them, The Ship-Owning Companies In The Display And Explanation
