Project Description: The Beneficiary of financing is the Municipal Enterprise Shopokov City Improvement Utility (the Shopokov water company), which is fully owned by the municipality of Shopokov and provides drinking water supply and wastewater treatment services in the city of Shopokov. As a result of the investment project, the population connected to the piped drinking water is expected to increase from the current 8,721 to 12,240 people in the city of Shopokov. The Beneficiary of financing is the Municipal Enterprise Kemin Vodokanal (the Kemin water company), which is fully owned by the municipality of Kemin and provides drinking water supply and limited wastewater treatment services in the city of Kemin. As a result of the investment project, the population connected to the piped drinking water is expected to increase from the current 7,338 to 12,339 people in the city of Kemin. The Beneficiary of financing is the Municipal Enterprise Talas Taza-Suu (the Talas water company), which is fully owned by the municipality of Talas and provides drinking water supply and limited wastewater treatment services in the city of Talas. As a result of the investment project, the population connected to the wastewater services is expected to increase from the current 9,309 to 12,700 people in the city of Talas.
