Research And Experimental Development Services – R&D Services, For The Redesign, Manufacturing And Verification Of An Ultrasonic Neuromodulation Device Guided By Low-Field Mr - Exp. Cpp 09/2023 Ab (Dcpi/Ocpi). This Contract Aims To Cover The Needs Regarding The Redesign, Manufacturing And Verification Of An Ultrasonic Neuromodulation System Guided By Low-Field Magnetic Resonance Imaging For Use In A Relevant Preclinical Environment. The Development Of Experimental Prototypes And Control Software In The Upv Laboratories Is Not Sufficient To Ensure Correct Functioning Of The System In A Relevant Preclinical Experimentation Environment, In Which The Systems Must Be Designed And Tested To Be Safe, Robust, Not Interfere With Other Systems, Be Optimized For Use With Animals By Non-Expert Personnel And Have Carried Out Safety Tests For Medical Instrumentation. The Manufacture Of Two Units Of The Functional Neuromodulation System Is Required, One For Installation At The Upv That Allows The Control And Monitoring Of Problems And Another For Use In Preclinical Verification Trials. Likewise, The Necessary Documentation Is Required To Certify The Operation Of The System, The Replication Of The System And Its Installation With The Appropriate Procedures, As Well As The Training Procedures And Transfer Of Knowledge To The Technical Staff Of The Upv And The Personnel Involved. In The Preclinical Verification Of The Neuromodulation System. The Systems Must Be Able To Be Installed In Hospital And/Or Research Environments Without Special Regulations For Mris And Pass The Ethical Committees Necessary For Experimentation With Macaques.
