Kcl Unit 1-4 Generator Refurbishment . Kootenay Canal (Kcl) Is One Of Bc Hydro’S Key Generation Facilities. Kcl Houses Four Generators, Which Are Canadian General Electric Machines, Each With A Nameplate Rating Of 147 Mva, 13.8 Kv And 0.9 Pf. Units 1 And 2 Were Put Into Service In 1975, And Units 3 And 4 In 1976. Bc Hydro Is Seeking Information From Respondents To Assist In Assessing The Feasibility Of Completing A Stator Rewind And Refurbishment Of All Four Units (Option A), Or Replacement Of The Generators At Kcl.
