Tenders are invited for Procurement of Poultry Slaughtering House Equipment & Tools for the Bishoftu Slaughtering House. Bid closing date: Dec 02, 2024 2:00 PM Bid opening date: Dec 02, 2024 2:30 PM Region: Addis Ababa Bid document price: 400.00 Birr or the equivalent amount Bid bond: 500,000.00 Birr or equivalent amount in a freely convertible currency The bidding document in the English language may be purchased by interested eligible bidders upon payment of a non-refundable fee of Ethiopian Birr 400.00 (Four Hundred Birr) or its equivalent amount in freely convertible currencies. The method of payment will be in cash or directly deposited to the MoAs account No. 1000009144009. Bidders who wish to have the bid document delivered to their address by a courier service pay an additional amount of ETB 1000.00 or an equivalent amount in a freely convertible currency for courier service charge or send a prepaid courier service coupon to the purchaser address below. However, the purchaser shall not be responsible for a loss or delay in the delivery of the mail and shall not entertain requests for extension on account of such delays. Bids must be delivered to the address below on or before December 2, 2024, at 2:00 PM. Electronic bidding will not be permitted. Late bids will be rejected. Bids will be publicly opened in the presence of the bidders designated representatives and anyone who chooses to attend at the address below on December 2, 2024, at 2:30 PM. All bids must be accompanied by a Bid Security amounting as per stated in the bidding document. The total amount of bid security could be Birr 500,000.00 (Five Hundred Thousand Birr) or its equivalent in an easily convertible currency. Bid Security must be in the form of either CPO or Bank Guarantee from a recognized local Banks or in Cash and it must be counter-guaranteed by local firms for foreign bank guarantees. Insurance Bonds and bid security declarations is not acceptable. The bid security shall be attached with or in the original bid proposals envelope.
