The specific objectives of the Program are: (i) to expand coverage and improve the quality of Potable Water and Sanitation (APS) services; (ii) improve the comprehensive management of Urban Solid Waste (USW); and (iii) strengthen the capacities of operators and the Development Bank of Ecuador B.P. (BDE B.P) in the management of APS and USW projects. Bidding for contracts financed by the Inter-American Development Bank will be conducted in accordance with the procedure indicated in the Policies for the Acquisition of Works and Goods Financed by the Inter-American Development Bank, GN 2349-15, and all bidders from eligible countries may participate, as specified in said policies.
