The Construction Project Is Divided Into 3 Following Construction Phases: 1) New Library, Foyer And Hall Including Basement 2) Conversion And Renovation. Barn To Museum 3) Conversion And Renovation Of The Best. Residential House (Individual Monument) General Project Description For All Construction Phases: The Former Hofstelle Residential Building Will Be Used As A Community Center/Citizens Workshop In The Future. The Sandstone Facade Will Be Retained And Will Only Be Reworked Where Necessary. The Windows Are Being Replaced And Shutters Are Being Put Back In Place. The Ground Floor Houses Rooms For A Community Workshop, Caretaker And Catering Kitchen With A Café In The Former Stable Room Of The House. Here The Ceiling Cannot Be Maintained And Is Replaced By A New Wooden Beam Ceiling. Office Space For Property Management And The Museum Is Provided On The Upper Floor. The Ceiling Above The Upper Floor Is Thermally Insulated. The Dg Will Not Be Expanded. The Interior Fittings Such As Floors, Doors And Plaster Will Be Retained As Far As Possible. The Monument Will Be Extended In The East With The Same Cross-Section And Integrated Into The New Building. The Existing Intermediate Building And Part Of The Barn Will Be Dismantled And Replaced With A New Building. The New, Two-Story Connecting Building With A Gable Roof Between The Monument And The Barn Takes Up The Height Of The Eaves Of The Monument And Closes The Courtyard On Three Sides. The Two Existing Buildings Lead Visitors Via The Workshop Yard To The Entrance To The New Building. Here You Are Welcomed By The Foyer With A Museum Shop, Information, Etc. Information Furniture, Ticket Machines And Lockers Are Available To Visitors In The Foyer. A Large Air Space Connects The Entrance Area On The Ground Floor With The Foyer On The Upper Floor. The Library, Lockers, Sanitary Rooms And The Multifunctional Rooms In The Barn Can Be Reached Via The Foyer On The Ground Floor. Visitors Reach The Upper Floor Via A Single Staircase Or Elevator. The Hall And The Permanent Exhibition Are Connected Here. To The East, The Rear Garden Courtyard Is Connected Via An Arcade. This Area Can Therefore Also Be Used For Events And Provides Evidence Of The Necessary Escape Routes From The Upper Floors. The Permanent Exhibition On The Upper Floor Of The Barn Consists Of An Opening Area In Front With A False Ceiling And The Exhibition Room On The Roof. The Building Services (Ventilation System) For The Exhibition Will Be Installed Above The Opening Zone. An Additional, Gable-Side Staircase Serves As An Escape Route And At The Same Time Forms A Tour, E.G. During Special Exhibitions On The Ground Floor Of The Barn. By Raising The Barn Roof, The Permanent Exhibition Room Can Be Used Barrier-Free Without Any Space Restrictions. The Basement Under The New Building Can Be Reached By Elevator And Non-Public Stairs.
