The E.K.A.B. Carries Out More Than 600,000 Transfers A Year, Of Which Half Concern The Attica Basin. Also, Through The Three-Digit Number 166, It Receives About 1,000 Calls For Emergency Medical Assistance Every Day. Today, A Central Information System For Recording Incidents And Managing Ambulances, Hereinafter Central Information System, Operates Successfully In The Regions Of Attica, Thessaloniki, And Regionally In The Prefectures Of Attica, Evia, Boeotia, Corinthia, Halkidiki, Imathia, Kilkis, Pella, Pieria, Serres, Drama And Kavalas Which Offers The Possibility To The Executives Of The Coordinating Centers To Manage Calls, Incidents And Available Resources (Mobile Media) In A Rational And Efficient Manner. Through A Parallel Project Of H.D.I.K.A. Horizontal Interventions Of Digital Transformation In Supervised Entities Of The Ministry Of Health, The Expansion Of The Operation Of The Existing Central Information System To All The Coordinating Centers Of The H.D.I.K.B Has Been Launched . Throughout Greece. Through The Above Project, The Ekab Will Upgrade Its Services Using The Existing System, A Fact That Will Have A Direct Impact On The Quantity And Quality Of Services Provided To Citizens, On The Better And More Immediate Provision Of Emergency Pre-Hospital Medicine Services, In The Reduction Of The Cost Of Providing These Services But Above All It Will Contribute To The Prevention Of Death Or Permanent Bodily Harm For Many Of Our Fellow Human Beings Who Have To Use The Services Of E.K.A.B. The Contractor Of This Project Will Be Asked To Supply The Organization With Modern Software Systems As Well As To Provide A Series Of Services Related To The Optimal Production Function Of The Offered Systems, While The Interconnection Of These Systems With The Central Information System Of The E.K.A Is Deemed Necessary .B.
