The City Of Überlingen Held A Realization Competition For The New High School Building, Which Was Intended To Show Alternative Planning Proposals In Wood Or Wood Hybrid Construction And Thus Lead To An Optimal Result. Negotiations Are Currently Underway With The Award Winners In Order To Award The Property Planning Services As Well As The Outdoor Area Planning Services. The Aim Is To Make A Contribution To Environmental And Climate Protection Through A Sustainable And Innovative Building: The Search Was For Groundbreaking Competition Entries That Succeed In Using As Little Energy And Resources As Possible (Including Through Sufficiency And Efficiency Strategies). To Achieve The Highest Possible Overall Economy, Comfort, Usability, Multifunctionality And Architectural Quality. The Building Should Conserve Resources, Take Material Cycles Into Account (Recyclable Design), Reduce Overall Consumption And Maximize The Use Of Renewable Energies.
