(M) Miscellaneous :- Test Required : Routine Test, All routine test as per IS : 2026, Oil Pressure & Vacuum with stand test : 7 PSI, Colour shade : D.A.Gary.(N) GENERAL ARRANGEMENT :- The unit consists of following :-(i) Stepdown Transformer- Double wound Delta/Star connected.(ii) ‘ON’ Load Voltage Regulator, Auto wound Delta connected.(iii) Buck-Boost Transformer, Double wound, open/open connected.(iv) Automatic control gear consisting of :-One Electronic Voltage Relay, One Reversing Stepsyn type geared motor unit, Two limit switches in order to avoid over running highest and lowest positions, chain drive, coupling device and all electrical connection. 4 (O) CONSTRUCTION :- The items N (i) & N (iii) above will be housed inside a well ventilated sheet steel tank and mounted on feet and items shall be supplied with first filing of oil, fittings would include :-(i) Rating & Diagram Plate (ii) Silica gel breather (iii) Earthing Terminals (iv) Lifting lugs (v) Drain valve (vi) Air Release plug (vii) Oil Conservator with Oil level indicator (viii) Filter valve (ix) Pressure Relief Valve (x) W.T.I. & O.T.I (xi) Buchholz Relay(P) GENERAL FEATURES :-(i) HAND CONTROL :- Hand wheel will be located on the front of the Regulator tank at convenient operative height.(ii) MOTOR CONTROL :- Raise / Lower push button control by means of small single phase reversible geared motor of permanent capacitor type will be provided. Limit switches will be fitted to restrict the travel at extreme positions. With this arrangement, it would also be possible to provide remote control to the Regulating Unit. The reversible geared motor would be of ‘Step-Syn’ type.(iii) AUTOMATIC CONTROL :- For automatic correction of fluctuating supply voltage, we shall provide Electronic Relay which in its simplest form, senses the Output Voltage and provide signal to the driving motor for necessary correction.Note :- The contractor shall get approval of design & drawings of equipment(s) from Accepting Officer before procurement of equipment(s). 5 Supply, installation, commissioning and testing ofVCB panel SF6 with complete copper busbar arrangements &SITC of new OEM 11 KV VCB Panel Board consisting of 1 incoming/ outgoing indoor type, 800 Amps, 25 KA for 3 Sec, The panel shall be fully type tested. The incoming feeder compartments shall have drawn out type PT and the VCB compartments shall have metering and protection CTs as required. The switchgear shall be designed for a symmetrical breaking capacity of not less than 25KA confirming to IS / IEC : 62271-100, 62271-102 with latest amendments including breaker including the cost of all required accessories, handling, transportation, CTs, draw out type PTs with rolling floor design for ease of maintenance & numerical relays for over current, earth fault, current & voltage displays, alarm and annunciation, indications, meters, LT control & instrumentation cables of required specifications etc. complete in all respect for proper completion of work. Vacuum Circuit Breakers must be manufactured by ISO:9000 certified manufacturer and shall have been type tested at CPRI/ NABL accredited laboratory or any Govt. approval laboratory within 10 years as on the date of bid (Technical) opening and in satisfactory operation for a period not less than three years. The copies of type test reports shall be provided at the time of supply toEngineer-in-Charge, complete all as specified and manufacturers instructions with the followings :- 6 The VCB must have the following :-(a) 800 Amps bus bar, the material shall be of high conductivity electrolytic copper only. (vi) Mechanical endurance test -M2 - 01 Job.Breaker shall be provided with the following features :(vii) Position call switch 3 No. 01 NC contact one each for test position - 01 Job.(viii) Tools and operators Manuals as per manufacturers insturctions - 01 Set.(ix) Foundation, PCC and other civil work as per manufacturers insturctions/ drawings - 01 Job.(x) Control cabling work with suitable size and core multi-stranded copper.(xi) Conductor cable as per manufacturers instructions as required at site - 01 Job.(xii) The contractor shall submit a type test certificate to the Engr-in-charge/ GE for approval before placing the order. 9 Conditions :- The switchboards shall be designed to operate under site conditions as specified in the datasheets. If not specifically mentioned therein, a design ambient termperature range upto +40 degree celcius and an altitude not exceeding 1652 mtr above mean sea level shall be consisdered.(i) All openings, covers and doors shall be provided with suitable gaskets around the perimeter to make the switchboard dust and vermin proof.(ii) Each unit of the switchgear shall have necessary internal sheet metal barriers to form separate compartments for circuit breakers, busbar, instruments and relays, cable connections etc, compartments for cable connections shall allow cable termination and connection work with the switchgear energized. A suitable interlock shall be provided such that the cable compartment can be opened only when the earth switch is ON or Earthing truck is inserted.(iii) All joints and connections of the panel members shall be made by zinc-passivated high quality grade 8.8 or superior steel bolts, nuts and washers, secured against loosening.(iv) Suitable eyebolts/ lifting clamps shall be provided for the lifting of the panel/ shipping section.(v) A rear door interlock shall be provided i.e rear door cannot be opened unless the breaker is in the test position. 10 Space Heaters :- (a) The panels shall be provided with space heaters to prevent moisture condensation and maintain cubicle temperature 5°C above the ambient.(b) The space heaters shall be located at the bottom of the panel and shall be controlled through a double pole MCB and a thermostat with an adjustable setting range of 30 to 70°C. Space heaters shall be supplied from 240 V AC auxiliary bus for a space heater.(c) The work also include the interconnection of existing VCB Panel with complete busbar connection arrangement and enclousure with above mentioned VCB Panel. The cost of the same must be included in the rates qouted by the contractor.(d) Any other item required to complete the job, is deemed to be included in the rate quoted by the contractor complete all as specified and directed.Note :- The contractor shall get approval of design & drawings of equipment(s) from Accepting Officer before procurement of equipment(s). 11 Supply, laying, commissioning & testing XLPE insulated, screened, PVC bedded, galvanised steel strip or wire armoured, electric power cable, heavy duty (earthed) with aluminium conductor, 11000 volts grade, cross sectional area 95 Sqmm 3 Core, laid in trenches/ floor/ duct/ fixed on poles/ through GI tubing, complete all as specified and directed. Note :- (a) Excavation, earth work, sand cushioning and PCC cable covers will be measured and paid separately under respective items of this BOQ.(b) Cable shall be tested after laying/ fixing and rates for the shall be deemed to include in the quoted rates. 12 M&L for cable jointing kit for 11 KV (Earthed) grade cable for indoor termination heat shrink type joint complete with jointing material and accessories suitable for 3 core XLPE armoured aluminium conductor cable of size 95 Sqmm, complete all as specified and directed. 13 M&L for earthing complete with copper earth plate electrode of size 600x600x3.15mm thick, buried directly in ground (earth pit not less than 2.25 mtr deep below from normal ground level), connecting to the copper earth strip of size 20x3mm by means of bolts, nuts, check nuts and washers of galvanised iron and earth lead protected by 40mm bore GI pipe, light grade including provision of conrete pit PCC 1:2:4 type B-1 (using 20mm graded crushed stone aggregates) with 40mm thick cover of RCC (1:2:4) type B-1, reinforced with XPM (weight not less than 4 Kg/Sqm) and frame of angle iron 25x25x3mm and with 6mm dia MS bar handle, made to shape, 20mm bore GI light grade pipe for watering pipe, placed on top edge of earth plate and including common salt and charcoal filling, test point with fixing arrangements, funnel, wire mesh and earth work in any type of soil, returning, filling in and removal of surplus soil to a distance not exceeding 50 mtr, complete as per electrical plate No. 3 of MES SSR Part-I (2009), complete all as specified and directed.Note :- The earthing will be tested after completion, if desire results not achieved, the contractor redo the earthing and rates for the same shall be deemed to include in the quoted rates. 14 M&L for construction of Platform/ foundation for 1500 KVA AVR, size 3.0 mtr in width x 5.0 mtr in length x 1.0 mtr high above ground level, PCC 1:4:8, type D-2 (using 40mm graded stone aggregates) as in foundation, brick work with sub class B bricks build in cement mortar 1:6, 15mm thick rendering in cement mortar 1:4 with and including 100mm below ground level, two coats of cement base paint over a coat of alkali resistant primer, PCC 1:2:4, type B-1 (using 20mm graded stone aggregates) as in coping etc. including necessary formwork and including excavation, earth work, removal, re-filling etc, complete all as specified and directed.Note :- PCC type D-2, PCC type B-1, brickwork and rendering shallbe measured and paid separately under respective items of this BOQ only. 15 M&L for plain cement concrete 1:4:8, type D-2 (using 40mm graded crushed stone aggragates) as in foundation, filling in etc., complete all as specified and directed. 16 M&L for cement concrete 1:2:4 type B-1 (using 20mm graded crushed stone aggregates) as in copings, kneelers, bed plates, kerbs and the like including weathering, slightly rounded or chamfered angles and throating, complete all as specified and directed. 17 M&L for brick work with sub class B bricks, old size, straight or curved on plan exceeding 6 Mtr mean radius, built in cement mortar 1:6, complete all as specified and directed. 18 M&L for 15mm thick rendering in cement mortar 1:4 on fair faces of brick wall or concrete surfaces, finished the surface even and fair without using extra cement, complete all as specified and directed. 19 Excavation in trenches, not exc 1.5 mtr wide and not exc 1.5 mtr in depth for laying/ taking out of XLPE cables, foundation of pole, ducts etc. and getting out in soft/ loose soil, complete all as specified and directed. 20 Returning, filling in trenches including spreading, leveling and well ramming in layers not exc 25cm thick, complete all as specified and directed. 21 Removing excavated soil to a distance not exc 50 mtr and depositing where directed at a level not exc 1.5 mtr above the starting point, complete all as specified and directed. 22 M&L for dry river sand, laid in trenches for cable protection, as 15cm thick below the cable and 8cm thick above the cable, complete all as specified and directed.Note :- Punned thickness of sand shall be measured and paid. 23 Supplying and laying reinforced precast concrete cable cover, Class HV, Type 1, flat, size 300mmx 180mm x 40mm, as per IS-5820-1970, ISI Marked, complete all as specified and directed.
