Request for proposals for Procurement of Tools and Equipment to Support Civil Defense Operations in the OPTs Under Stabilisation Response Mechanism (SRM) Project. Each tender (Tender) submitted by each Party who responds to this RFP (Tenderer) should be detailed enough to allow the Company to make an informed selection of the most appropriate offer. This RFP contains information about the procurement process and the Goods and/or Services. Subject to the terms of this RFP, the Company proposes to enter into a contract (Contract) with the successful Tenderer (Vendor). This RFP has been issued by the Company to fulfil the requirements of the Company. Unless indicated otherwise, references to Schedules are to the Schedules of this RFP The Company reserves the right to: (a) waive or change the requirements of this RFP from time to time without prior (or any) notice being given by the Company; (b) seek clarification or documents in respect of a Tenderers submission; (c) disqualify any Tenderer that does not submit a compliant Tender in accordance with the instructions in this RFP; (d) disqualify any Tenderer that is guilty of serious misrepresentation in relation to its Tender, expression of interest or the tender process. Any Tenderer who directly or indirectly canvasses any employee of the Company concerning the award of the Contract will be disqualified. Taxes and VAT: The Tenderers shall maintain registration for value-added tax (VAT) or equivalent goods and services tax (if applicable) and provide their registration number to ASI. ASI will not be required to pay any such tax in connection with the supply of the goods or services until the Tenderers has provided ASI with a proper tax invoice and any other documentation required by relevant legislation, in the form prescribed by the applicable laws, in respect of any VAT or goods and services tax payable under or in connection with this RFP.
