The Municipality Of Nyköping Has 12 Wastewater Treatment Plants That Clean The Wastewater From The Municipalitys Approximately 47,000 Citizens. The Municipalitys Largest And Centrally Located Is The Brandholmen Sewage Treatment Plant, In Addition To This There Are Another 11 Smaller Sewage Treatment Plants Around The Municipality. The Annual Historical Consumption Of Precipitation Chemicals For The Purification Of The Waste Water Has Amounted To 500 M3 Iron Chloride And 40 M3 Polyaluminium Chloride.
