Seismic Services – Carrying Out 2D Seismic Measurements. It Is Planned To Carry Out The 2D Seismic Survey In 2025, With The Actual Seismic Measurements Taking Place In The Period Autumn - Winter 2025. The Basis For The Provision Of Services By The Contractor Is The Lv And In Particular The Measurement Area. The Planned Area For The 2D Seismic Measurements Is Within The Permission Area For Commercial Purposes Kreuz Aachen And Includes Areas In The Municipality Of Aachen, Stolberg (Rhld.), Eschweiler, Alsdorf, Würselen And Herzogenrath. The Locations Of The Planned Four 2D Seismic Lines With A Total Length Of Approximately 38 Km Were Selected Based On A Previously Prepared Feasibility Study (Ritzmann Et Al., 2022). The Nw-Se Trending Lines Are Along Strike With The Regional Subsurface Structures And Have A Length Of Around 10 Km Due To Their Large Migration Aperture. The Cross-Strike Ns-Sw Lines Are 7.5 Km Long. For A High Resolution Of The Data Set, A Bin Size Of 5 M To 10 M And A Distance Between The Receiver And Source Point Stations Of 5 M To 20 M Are Suggested. An Active Exposure Of 7000 M In Length Is Planned (Symmetrical, Source Point In The Middle), With The Coverage Being 350 Times For 5 M Binning And 700 Times For 10 M Binning.
