Tenders Are Invited For Component Replacement Of The Bonn-West Dransdorf Light Rail Line in Germany

The Bonn Bus And Railway Public Works Would Like To Renew The Entire Contact Line System In The Area Between The Bonn West Stop And The Transition To Single-Track Behind The Dransdorf Stop. The Plan Is To Dismantle/Dismantle All Reinforced Concrete Masts Including Foundations And To Re-Found 102 Steel Masts (He-B/He-M Profile Masts). In Addition, The Reinforcement Line In The Existing System Is To Be Integrated Into The Catenary System. The Contact Wire, As Well As The Support Cable, Hangers, Booms, Etc. Should Be Completely Replaced. Possible Foundation Methods Are The “Drill Pipe Method” Or, If Necessary, The “Soil Shield Method”. The Possible Implementation Period Is Planned For The Summer Holidays Of 2025 With A Complete Closure Of The Route. Certain Work, Such As The Foundation Of Some Masts, For Example Along Bendenweg, Is Also Possible During Operation. Further Preliminary Measures, Such As Explosive Ordnance Detection, Survey Work, Etc. Are Possible Outside Of The Actual Closure Breaks During Night-Time Operations (Approx. 2-3 Hours Without Regular Rail Traffic, Information Without Guarantee, Details Will Be Coordinated After The Order Has Been Awarded) Or Partially During Operation.
