It Went Into Operation In 1913. Extensive Examinations Of The Entire Structure Were Carried Out Through Main Structural Inspections. The Last Basic Renovation Was Carried Out Between 1992 And 1999. -------------------------------------------------- -------------------------------------------------- -------------------------------------------------- ------------------------------------------°°°°°° As A Result The Main Building Inspection From 2016/2017 And Taking Into Account The New Flood Protection Requirements, The Client Created A Repair Plan That Was Ready For Implementation (Execution Planning With Verified Static Calculations). This Essentially Includes The Repair Of The Heads Including The Hydraulic Steel Construction And The Drive Technology. During Execution, The Direct Dependencies And Interfaces Of The Solid Construction Component Groups Of The Heads, Lock Gates, Drive Carriages, Undercarriage And, Above All, The Gate Runners With Repair Of The Soles And Jambs Must Be Taken Into Account. The Entire Construction Project Must Be Carried Out During Ongoing Operation Of The Sea Lock And While Maintaining Public Transport. The Aim Is To Completely Restore The Functionality Of The Lock And Adapt It To Future Flood Protection Requirements. The Repair Is Intended To Ensure Safe Operation With High System Availability For At Least The Next 35 Years.
