The University Hospital Of Cologne (Ukk) Is Planning To Set Up A Medical Interoperability Platform (Miop) To Improve Cross-Sector Networking And Communication Between All Those Involved In Care. The Aim Is To Create A Sustainable Solution That Facilitates The Exchange Of Data And Information Between Different Service Providers And Recipients Before, During And After Hospital Treatment, Thus Enabling Seamless, High-Quality Patient Care. In This Way, The Miop Forms The Basis For A Ukk Patient Portal And Provides Basic Functionalities For Setting Up A Ukk Telemedicine Portal. The Miop Must Ensure An Interoperable And Future-Proof Network That Meets Both Current And Future Digital Healthcare Needs. The Platform Is To Be Connected To The Ukks Existing It Infrastructure Via Standardized Interfaces With Fhir/Ihe Structures (Optionally Hl7 V2.3 In A First Expansion Stage). Key Requirements Include Ensuring Connectivity To Existing And Future Ukk Systems, In Particular The Patient Portal And The Planned Telemedicine Portal. In Addition, Bidirectional Interfaces Are Required For The Transfer, Forwarding And Processing Of Data From Various It Systems, Based On The Fhir, Ihe And Hl7 V2.3 Standards. The Miop Must Enable Secure And Efficient Data Exchange Between Healthcare Actors In Compliance With The Requirements Of The Fifth Book Of The Social Code (Sgb V), Offer A Flexible And Expandable Architecture To Support Future Requirements And Expansions, As Well As All Relevant Data Protection And Security Standards Comply With The Handling Of Health Data. Miop Offers A Holistic Solution For The Integration And Distribution Of Medical Data. Using Current Standards Such As Fhir And Ihe, We Create A Uniform Database Across Different Systems. Our Platform Supports The Easy Connection Of New Systems And Ensures Independence From Manufacturers. With The Ability To Integrate And Make Available Medical Data Quickly And Reliably, We Optimize Clinical Processes And, Among Other Things, Improve The Evaluability Of This Data. The Areas Of Research And Teaching Also Benefit From Our Miop. The Focus Is On Smooth System Integration, Which Supports Uk-It In Optimizing Our Processes. The Aim Is To Provide Faster Access To Important Information And Promote Intra- And Intersectoral Collaboration. As Part Of This Call For Tenders, A Technical Partner Is Sought For The Development, Implementation And Integration Of The Miop Into The Ukks Existing It Infrastructure.
