Architectural, Engineering And Planning Services – Neuville-Sur-Saône: Project Management Mission For The Renovation Of The Bow-String Bridge And The Creation Of An Active Mode Gateway Between Neuville-Sur-Saône And Albigny-Sur-Saône. The Current Bridge Connects The Towns Of Neuville And Albigny, It Was Built In 1931 To Replace The Original Structure Dating From 1831 (Located Upstream). The Albigny-Neuville Bridge Is The Only Bow-String Type Bridge In Reinforced Concrete In The Lyon Metropolitan Area. This Work Of Art Is Made Up Of Five Spans: The Three Main Spans Are Of The Bow-String Type And The Two Lateral Access Spans Are Multiple-Girder Bridges Under The Roadway. The Central Span Was Dynamited In September 1944 And Rebuilt Identically After The War. The Structure Is Experiencing Progressive Structural Disorders On Essential Organs (Archs, Hangers, Deck, Supports, Abutments), With A State Of Severe Damage Due To Generalized Internal Swelling Reactions Of The Concrete. The Corbels And The Edge Beams Located Under The Corbelled Part Are The Most Critical Points Of The Work. It Was Ranked 3 (Qoa Rating) During The Last Idp. The Operation Consists Of The Repair Of The Current Road Structure And Attached To It Upstream The Creation Of A Structure Dedicated To Active Modes: Pedestrians And Cycles. The Repair Of The Existing Structure And The Creation Of A New Footbridge Are An Integral Part Of A Single Project Which Initially Aims To Restore The Sustainability Of The Existing Structure But Also Aims To Balance Uses Within The Public Space By Promoting Active Modes . This Work Must Make It Possible To Secure The Pedestrian And Cycle Crossings. It Will Be Built Immediately Upstream Of The Current Bridge And Must Provide A Useful Width Of 3.00 Meters For Pedestrians And 3.00 Meters For Cycles. Any Proposal For Sizing Below The Target Values Must Be Justified And Validated By The Technical And Political Bodies Responsible For The Project. It Should Be Noted That The Extra Width Created By This New Footbridge Cannot Be Greater Than 5 Meters Beyond The Existing Structure. This Operation Is Part Of The More General Framework Of The Various Development Projects In The Sector, Including: - The Requalification Of The Neuville Quays (North Entrance); - The Development Of Voie Lyonnaise No. 3 North; - Pedestrianization Of The Western Section Of Rue Victor Hugo; - Renewal Of The Drinking Water Pipe Crossing The Structure By Edlg. The Geographical Scope Of The Operation Includes The Neuville Sur Saône Structure Carrying The D16 Departmental Road And The Right-Of-Way Of The Future Footbridge Attached To The Bridge. The Perimeter Also Includes Immediate Access To The Structure (Abutment Walls, Integration Into Roundabouts, Connection To The Quay On The Lower Neuville Side, Lighting, Signage, Etc.). This Project Will Have To Obtain Validation From The Architects Of Buildings Of France Because The Bridge Is Located Within A Historic Monument Perimeter. During The Feasibility Studies, A Heritage Diagnosis Of The Structure And The Val De Saône Was Carried Out. These Elements Will Be Taken Into Account By The
