Expression of Interest are invited for Tunisia Phosphate Green PSP Program - Legal Support. Publication Date: 12/09/2024 12:00 AM EST EOI Deadline: 12/16/2024 11:59 PM EST Description: The International Finance Corporation (IFC) has been mandated by the Government of Tunisia to support with the preparation and delivery of its green program for the phosphate sector. The program includes: (i) a slurry pipeline to transport phosphate from the mining basin to the washing plants, (ii) a 100,000 m3/day desalination plant and (iii) a renewable energy plant. IFC seeks to hire a legal consultancy firm or consortium of firms to support IFC and its government Client with all the legal aspects related to the implementation of the Project including (i) legal due diligence related to the project of water, renewable energy and mining sectors and identification of any constrains regarding the institutional, legal and regulatory framework pertaining to private sector participation in these sectors in Tunisia; (ii) preparation of structuring recommendations for the program; (iii) drafting of the project(s) agreement(s) and other transaction documents; and (iii) assisting in conducting a transparent tender process, including evaluation and award, up until commercial close.
