There Are Three Niersverband Wastewater Treatment Plants In The Area Of The City Of Goch - The Sewage Treatment Plants (Ka) Goch, Kessel And Hassum. The Wastewater Is Predominantly Treated On The Goch Wastewater Treatment Facility, Only The Wastewater From Smaller External Areas Such As The Kessel And Nergena Localities Are Treated At The Kessel Wastewater Treatment Facility Or The Hassum And Hommersum Localities As Well As Some Scattered Settlements On The Hassum Wastewater Treatment Facility. The Hassum And Kessel Wastewater Treatment Facilities Are To Be Abandoned By The Niersverband In The Future And The Wastewater Is To Be Transferred To The Goch Wastewater Treatment Facility. For This Purpose, Two Pumping Stations And Pressure Pipelines Will Be Built. For Further Planning, Specialist Planning By A Structural Engineer Is Required.
