104-Bym-2024 - Procurement Of A Contractor For The Implementation Of Cycling Measures In Etterstadsletta West . The Project Is Located On Etterstadsletta And Is Located In Old Oslo. The Stretch Is 750 Meters And Is A Widely Used Commuter Route For Cyclists And Borders Apartment Blocks, Kindergartens And Is Also An Important Walking Route And Connection In The Neighbourhood. The Aim Of The Project Is To Increase Traffic Safety And Reduce The Conflict Between Cyclists And Pedestrians By Giving Cyclists And Pedestrians Separate Areas. To Improve Pedestrian Connections In The Area, A Shortcut Will Be Upgraded. Etterstadletta Is Part Of The Plan For The Cycleway Network, Where The Section Is To Be Better Facilitated For Pedestrians And Cyclists. The Project Section Can Be Divided Into Three Main Parts Based On The Areas It Passes Through And The Challenges These Areas Present. The Three Parts: In Biskop Jens Nilssens Gate, The Current Pavement Will Be Extended North Towards The Current Regulatory Limit, So That It Will Have A Uniform Width Of 3 Metres. Street Parking Along The Pavement Will No Longer Be Possible. Pedestrians And Cyclists Must Share The Pavement Area, As With The Solution Today, But With More Space. Along The Railway Line, The Pavement Transitions To The Two-Part Solution With A 3-Metre Cycle Path And 2.5 M Pavement Up To Etterstadsletta 82. Along The Alnaelva, The Pedestrian And Cycle Path Enters A Curve Where It Meets The Slope Towards The Alnaelva. Here, A Row Of 10 Trees Is Removed So That The Terrain Does Not Expand Towards The Alnaelva And Affect Natural Types. The New Footpath And Cycleway Ends Just After Passing The Adjacent Footpath At Etterstadsletta 82. Between Etterstadsletta 82 And Etterstadskroken, A Shortcut Of Approx. 90 Meters Are Being Upgraded
