The Scheffelstrasse Bridge Was Built In 1956 And Is Located In The Center Of Mülheim An Der Ruhr Between Brückstrasse And Heißener Strasse And Leads Partly Over Db Tracks And Partly Over The Ruhr Cycle Expressway. The Bridge Is A Delicate Structure With A Pendulum Support And Approval For Vehicles Up To 16 T. Work Must Therefore Be Carried Out With As Little Vibration As Possible. Both The Road Surface And The Sidewalk Surface Are Cracked Over A Large Area And Underneath And Must Be Replaced. The Old Surface Must Be Removed Down To The Bridge Slab, A Scratch Filler, A Bitumen Welding Membrane And Finally A Mastic Asphalt Must Be Applied A 1 M Wide Strip Must Be Created As A Connection To The Road Surface. The Sidewalks Must Be Replaced Over Their Entire Length, With The Curbs Are Only To Be Placed Along The Length Of The Bridge, Including The 1 M Wide Strip On Both Sides. The Plan Is To Carry Out The Measure In 3 Construction Phases. First, A Partially Closed Sidewalk, Including Curbs And A 50 Cm Road Area, Is To Be Replaced. As Soon As This Is Accessible Again, The Second Sidewalk Will Be Renewed In The Same Way. In The Third Construction Phase, The Road Surface Will Be Renewed In Full Closure.
