Repair And Maintenance Services Of Furniture – Repair And Renovation Of Heritage-Protected Premises Of The Faculty Of Architecture And Design Of The Stu In Bratislava And Their Wood-Based Equipment. The Subject Of The Contract Is The Repair And Renovation Of The Historic Premises Of The Faculty Of Architecture And Design Of The Stu In Bratislava And Their Wood-Based Equipment. The Goal Is A Comprehensive Restoration Of The Original Interiors Of Classrooms No. 119, 135, 322, 338 And 01 (Hall) From 1950 And 1999, Which Includes Restoration Of The Surfaces Of Wooden Elements, Damaged Parts, Structures And Surfaces, Wall Coverings, Fillings Of Openings, Doors, Production Of Replicas Of Original Historical Elements, By Restoring Or Laying A New Floor, Straightening And Painting The Ceiling And Walls, New Electrical Installation And Lighting Under The Conditions Agreed In This Contract And Tender Documents. The Works Also Include The Restoration Of Selected Historical Doors, Benches And The Creation Of A Glazed Wooden Partition. The Exact Specification Of Works And Deliveries Of The Work Is Given In Annex No. 1 And Is An Integral Part Of The Tender Documents. A Complex Process Of Repair And Renovation Of Historical Heritage-Protected Spaces And Their Wood-Based Equipment Requiring Expert Knowledge And Responsibility. The Process Of Repairing And Refurbishing Old Wood Veneer Furniture And Solid Wood Interior Elements Is Complex And Requires Expertise And Skills In Materials Engineering And Craftsmanship. The First Step In The Process Is A Thorough Analysis Of The Condition Of The Surfaces In Order To Identify And Characterize Damage, Defects And Wear Of The Material. This Step Requires Skills In Microscopic And Macroscopic Surface Evaluation To Determine Appropriate Repair Procedures And Materials. Subsequently, The Existing Paint Or Varnish Is Removed From The Surface Of The Furniture, Which Is Carried Out Using Special Chemicals And Tools. This Process Requires Attention To Detail And Strict Adherence To Safety Standards To Minimize The Risk Of Damage To The Wood Material. After Removing The Old Coating, There Is A Phase Of Repairing Damage To The Wood Veneer, Such As Scratches, Cracks And Detached Parts. The Repair Is Carried Out Using Special Wood Fillers And Glues. Finally, The Treatment And Restoration Of The Wooden Veneer Surface Is Carried Out Using Special Woodworking Oils, Varnishes And Waxes, Which Ensure The Protection And Aesthetic Appearance Of The Furniture. An Incorrectly Performed Process Can Result In Irreversible Damage To Wood Veneer Or Solid Wood Surfaces.
