Tenders Are Invited For Non-Hazardous Refuse And Waste Treatment And Disposal Services – Design-Execution-Operation Of Mechanical-Biological Treatment Station With Anaerobic Digestion And Energy Recovery And Galați Transfer Station
Non-Hazardous Refuse And Waste Treatment And Disposal Services – Design-Execution-Operation Of Mechanical-Biological Treatment Station With Anaerobic Digestion And Energy Recovery And Galați Transfer Station. The Purpose Of The Contract To Be Awarded Is The Design And Execution Of The Following Objectives: • Construction Of A Mechano-Biological Treatment Facility With Anaerobic Digestion In Galati, A Facility That Will Ensure Both The Pre-Treatment Of Mixed Waste And The Treatment Of Separately Collected Bio-Waste, Facility With The Following Characteristics: - Mechanical Stage With A Capacity Of 60,000 T/Year; Initially It Will Operate In 2 Shifts/Day, Later It Will Gradually Move To Operation In One Shift, As A Result Of The Reduction In The Amount Of Waste Collected In The Mixture And Treated In The Facility; The Mechanical Line Is Equipped With A Semi-Automatic Sorting Facility. The Process Results In Waste With Organic Content Intended For Biological Treatment, Material Recoverable Products (Recyclable Waste), Energy Recoverable Products (Rdf) And Residues (Intended For Storage); The Phrase 60,000 Tons/Year With Operation In 2 Shifts Means A Total Sorting Capacity Of 60,000 Tons/Year X 2 Shifts = 120,000 Tons/Year. This Capacity Is Composed Of The Sorting Of Residual Waste (For The Recovery Of The Organic Fraction Intended For Anaerobic Digestion) And The Mechanical Pretreatment Of Separately Collected Biowaste (For The Removal Of The Non-Fermentable Fraction Through The Anaerobic Digestion Process). In This Sense, The Contracting Authority Made Available Through The Award Documentation (Specifications, Foundation Study), The Quantities Of Separately Collected Residual Waste And Biowaste Estimated To Constitute Waste Inputs That Require Treatment/Pretreatment Before Anaerobic Digestion. Since It Is A Design-Execution-Operation Type Contract, The Contractor Will Propose Technical Solutions And Optimal Operating Methods Both From The Point Of View Of Operating Times And To Ensure That There Is No Interaction Between The Separately Collected Biowaste And Residual Waste During Mechanical Processes. - The Biological Line Of The Tmb Facility, Respectively The Semi-Dry Anaerobic Digestion Facility, With A Capacity Of 85,000 T/Year (1 Shift/Day). Separately Collected Biowaste And Residual Waste Are Treated In Separate Plant Equipment. The Digestion Process Results In Digestate From Residual Waste (For Storage), Digestate From Separately Collected Biowaste (Utilized In Agriculture), Residues (For Storage), Rdf (Co-Incineration) And Gas - Apart From These Items, The Contractor Will Have To Purchase A Turbine For The Production Of Electricity From The Resulting Gas, The Infrastructure Related To The Composting Of Digestate From Biowaste To Ensure The Quality Of A Compost That Can Be Used In Agriculture. Being A Design, Execution And Operation Type Contract, The Contractor Has The Freedom To Propose The Optimal Solution Regarding The Cogeneration Plant So That The Performance Indicators Mentioned In The Award Documentation Are Reached (E.G. Other Thermal Equipment Apart From The Turbine). The Cogeneration Plant Works
