Reconstruction of Khidka to Rajipur road. (Including 5 Year maintenance period). - Construction of embankment with approved material obtained from borrow pits with all lifts and leads, transporting to site, spreading, grading to required slope and compacting to meet requirement of table 300-2. (ISR No,.1.1.2) 2 Construction of granular sub-base by providing well graded material, spreading in uniform layers with motor grader on prepared surface, mixing by mix in place method with rotavatorat OMC, and compacting with smoothwheelroller to achieve thedesired density, complete as per Technical Specification Clause 401. 3 Providing, laying, spreading and compacting stone aggregates of specific sizes to water bound macadam specification including spreading in uniform thickness, hand packing, rolling with smoothwheel roller 80-100 kN in stages to proper grade and camber, applying and brooming, stone screening to fill-up the interstices of coarse aggregate, watering and compacting to the required density Grading 3 as per Technical Specification Clause 405. 4 Providing, laying, spreading and compacting graded stone aggregate (WMM) after mixing with water at OMC in mechanical mix plant carriage of mixed Material by tipper to site, laying with 1% OPC Cement and 3.5% Emulsion in uniform single layer on sub- base/sub-grade and compacting with Road roller to achieve the desired density. 5 Providing and applying tack coat with bitumen (VG-10)using bitumendistributor at the rate of 0.25 kg per sqm on the prepared granular surfaces treated with primer & cleaned with Hydraulic broom as per Technical Specification Clause 503. 6 Providing, laying and rolling of open-graded premix carpet of 20 mm thickness composed of 13.2 mm to 5.6 mm aggregates either using penetration grade bitumen or emulsion to required line, grade and level to serve as wearing course on a previously prepared base, including mixing in a suitable plant, laying and rolling with a three wheel 80-100 kN static roller capacity, finished to required level and grades to be followed by seal coat of either Type B as per Technical Specification Clause 508. 7 Providing and laying seal coat sealing the voids in a bituminous surface laid to the specified levels, grade and cross fall using Type B as per Technical Specification Clause 510 8 Construction of sub-grade and earthen shoulders with approved material obtained from borrow pits with all lifts & leads, transporting to site, spreading, grading to required slope and compacted to meet requirement of table No. 300-2 9 Routine Maintenanceof road after completion work (A) Carriageway/Pavement: (a) Potholes,cracks,other surface defects(SWMM & BC), (b) Repair of Edges, Rutting(BC). (B) Road, Embankment, Cuttings, Shoulders, Trees & Plantation: (a) Roads Maintained free of edge drop, inadequate cross fall, undulations, settlement, Ponding (E/W), (b) Deficient slopes, rain cuts in embankments (E/W), (c) Vegetation growth, Loping of tree branches. (C) Bridges and Culverts: (a) De-silting, (b) Clearing vegetation growth (Jungle Clearance), (c) Damaged/disturbed boulder pitching, breast /toe wall retaining wall, apron flooring , guide bunds (Boulder Apron), (d) Parapet, any damage to foundations, (e) Any defects in sub-structures, (f) Any defects in superstructures, raillings, parapets., (g) wearing coat, (h) Approach slab, (i) Painting & lettering of No. plates, repairs. (D) Repair of Roadside Drains: (a) Brick Work in 1:4, (b) Plaster, (c) CC-1:2:4. (E) Road Furniture: (a) Cleaning, Painting & lettering of stones & sign boards, Replacement of damaged/ missing stones & sign boards., (b) 200 m stones, (c) Km stones, (d) 5th km stones,.
