The Syndicat Mixte Entre Pic Et Etang (Smepe) Exercises Waste Treatment Competence For The 6 Member Groups Of Municipalities: - Agglomeration Of Pays De L’Or; - Community Of Communes Of Grand Pic St Loup; - Lunel Agglomeration; - Community Of Communes Rhony, Vistre, Vidourle; - Community Of Communes Of The Pays De Sommières; - Community Of Communes Terre De Camargue. Its Territory Brings Together 89 Municipalities Representing Approximately 223,000 Sedentary Inhabitants Of The South-East Sector Of Hérault And The South-West Sector Of Gard. The Waste Collected By The Various Groups Reaches The Treatment Facilities Under Service Contract With The Union. Thus, Plant Waste Is Collected Through The Network Of 27 Recycling Centers And Collection Points. This Contract Only Concerns The Treatment Of Plant Waste From The Pays De Lor Agglomeration.
