This includes conducting a detailed inspection and diagnosis to determine the root causes, followed by implementing necessary repairs, replacements, or adjustments to ensure optimal functionality. The rectification process must guarantee that all HVAC components, including air handling units, ductwork, sensors, and control systems, operate efficiently. Preventive measures, such as improving insulation, sealing leaks, or recalibrating controls, should also be implemented to ensure long-term reliability. All work must comply with industry standards, with minimal disruption to campus operations, and detailed documentation of the completed tasks and preventive actions must be submitted upon completion. 152 The scope of work involves the rectification of the 20 HP fan motor and fan IPDU in the VRF outdoor unit (1 set). The contractor shall inspect, diagnose, and repair or replace the fan motor and IPDU as necessary to restore the unit to optimal working condition. This includes ensuring proper alignment, functionality, and performance of both components to support efficient operation of the VRF system. All work must comply with industry standards, ensuring the durability and reliability of the repaired unit. 153 This work involves the rectification of the fan IPDU in the 8TR indoor unit (1 unit). The contractor shall inspect and troubleshoot the fan IPDU to identify any faults, followed by necessary repairs or replacements to restore proper functionality. The rectification process must ensure that the fan operates smoothly, efficiently, and in alignment with system requirements. All work should adhere to industry standards, ensuring reliable and sustained performance of the indoor unit. 154 The work involves the rectification of the duct diffuser, including necessary adjustments and repairs to ensure proper function. It also includes the connection of the duct system to the appropriate components, ensuring all connections are secure and airtight. Additionally, the work requires sealing any leakage in the ducts to prevent loss of airflow and maintain the efficiency of the exhaust system at the Kabani Foodcourt. This work is intended to enhance the overall performance of the exhaust system by addressing issues related to diffuser functionality, faulty connections, and air leakage. 155 The work involves the supply and installation of GI wire mesh for two exhaust units located on the basement floor. The exact dimensions of the mesh will be determined after a site visit to assess the specific requirements. The mesh to be installed must be durable, corrosion-resistant, and designed to facilitate optimal airflow while preventing debris or foreign objects from entering the exhaust units. The contractor is responsible for ensuring proper installation, including accurate alignment, to maintain the efficiency and functionality of the exhaust system. 156 The scope of work involves the rectification of existing sweating issues in the Kabani Food Court by supplying and installing 13 mm nitrile rubber insulation. The insulation shall be applied to all areas where sweating has been identified, ensuring comprehensive coverage to eliminate moisture-related problems. The contractor must ensure proper installation practices to achieve optimal thermal insulation and long-term durability. This work aims to improve system efficiency and maintain a condensation-free environment within the food court. All materials and methods used should comply with industry standards for insulation and moisture control. 157 The work involves the rectification of three exhaust units as follows:Food Court Common Exhaust - Kruger 2.9 hp: Rectification includes addressing issues with the relay in the electrical panel and resolving vibration problems in the exhaust motor.Pump Room Exhaust - Kruger 4.9 hp: The work includes rewinding the motor and replacing the bearings.These rectifications need to be done to restore the proper functioning and performance of the exhaust systems. 158 The work involves the inspection, rectification, and recommissioning of four lift pressurization fans at the Kabani IT Building. This includes a thorough inspection of the fans to identify any issues, followed by the necessary rectifications to address any faults or inefficiencies. Once the rectification work is completed, the fans have to be recommissioned to ensure proper operation and compliance with safety and performance standards. 159 RECTIFICATION OF FOLLOWING COMPLAINTS IN THE FAS AND FPS SYSTEMS IN TECHNOPARK PHASE IV CAMPUSNote: (The bidder has to visit the site and assess the existing complaints before quoting the tender) 160 The work involves the rectification and recommissioning of the Jockey Pump. This includes identifying and addressing any issues affecting the pump"s performance, followed by necessary repairs or adjustments in motor/pump/panel. Once the rectification work is completed, the Jockey Pump has to be recommissioned to ensure it operates efficiently and meets required performance standards. 161 The work involves the rectification and recommissioning of the Diesel Engine Pump and Diesel Engine Pump Panel Automation. This includes identifying and addressing any issues with the pump and its automation panel, followed by necessary repairs or adjustments. Once the rectification work is completed, the Diesel Engine Pump and its Panel Automation have to be recommissioned to ensure proper functionality and optimal performance in compliance with operational standards. 162 The work involves the rectification of existing faults in the main building fire alarm control system, addressing over 300 identified faults. This includes a thorough inspection and repair of the system to identify and resolve issues affecting its functionality. The work aims to restore the system to full operational status, ensuring all components are working correctly and in compliance with safety standards 163 The work involves the rectification of existing complaints, testing, and recommissioning of the Cafeteria building fire alarm control panel. This includes addressing any reported issues with the system, performing comprehensive testing to ensure all components are functioning properly, and making any necessary adjustments or repairs. Once the rectification and testing are completed, the fire alarm control panel has to be recommissioned to ensure optimal performance and compliance with safety standards. 164 The work involves the integration of the Voice Evacuation System with the Main Fire Panel, including the supply and installation of all necessary cables. This integration ensures that the Voice Evacuation System operates in conjunction with the Main Fire Panel for coordinated emergency alerts and evacuations. The work includes proper connection, testing, and configuration of the system to ensure seamless communication during fire emergencies, complying with safety standards and operational requirements. 165 The work involves the rectification of existing complaints and the recommissioning of the Fire Hydrant Control Panel. This includes identifying and addressing any reported issues affecting the functionality of the control panel, followed by necessary repairs or adjustments. Once the rectification work is completed, the Fire Hydrant Control Panel has to be recommissioned to ensure proper operation and compliance with safety standards. 166 The work involves the rectification of existing complaints and the recommissioning of the Talk Back System. This includes identifying and addressing any reported issues with the system, performing necessary repairs or adjustments, and ensuring all components are functioning properly. Once the rectification work is completed, the Talk Back System has to be recommissioned to ensure optimal performance and effective communication during operational use.
