This Contract Is Essential For Highways Maintenance Team To Deliver Statutory Duties, Including: - Minor Maintenance Works; - Minor Coated Macadam Patching And Pothole Reinstatement To Carriageways And Footways; - Relaying And Replacing Slabs; - Relaying And Replacing Kerbs And Channels; - Adjusting Boxes; - Fixing And Adjusting Small Signs; - Cutting And Trimming Trees, Hedges And Shrubs; - Removing Obstructions From The Highway; - Providing Assistance To The Emergency Services; - Reacting To Civil Contingencies Which May Include Severe Weather Events And Oil Spills; The Contract Is Intended To Last For An Initial 8 Year Period With Two Optional 2 Year Extensions. Estimated Value Is £2Million Per Annum (£16 Million For Initial Term And Up To £24Million If All Extension Exercised)
