Expression of Interest are invited for Analyses for the Development of Fisheries and Mariculture Value Chains in Morocco The objective of this study is to carry out an assessment of existing and potential new fishery and mariculture value chains in Morocco, to identify constraints and opportunities for sector growth. The scope of the study focuses on capture fisheries and mariculture and exclude inland freshwater aquaculture. The study will include a value chains development plan for selected value chains. The plan should describe policy reforms and investments that are required to sustainably increase production and productivity, create jobs and generate income opportunities. Tasks include a literature review, inception report, and workshops with stakeholders, followed by data collection and a value chain analysis of Moroccan fisheries and mariculture, and the preparation of a development plan aligned with Moroccos Halieutis strategy. Key deliverables include reports, workshops, and data analyses, with a timeline spanning between January 20, 2025 to July 31, 2025. The task requires a Task Team Leader, Fisheries Value-Chains Specialist, National Fisheries Specialist, Market Specialist, Socio-economic Specialist, Gender Specialist, Environmental and Climate Specialist, and Data Analyst, all with relevant experience, advanced degrees, and preferably knowledge of Moroccos fisheries sector.
