Öbb-Infrastructure Ag Currently Has A Hot Box Detection System (Hoa) For Detecting Hot Axle Bearings And Solid Brakes And Are An Essential Factor In Increasing Operational Safety. In Order To Detect Thermal Overloading Of Brakes And Defects In Axle Bearings And To Be Able To Initiate Operational Measures Accordingly, The System Was Installed Approximately Every 30 Km On The Main Routes And Approximately Every 50 Km On Secondary Routes.
