Harbor Construction Works – Dredging Of The Channel And Harbor Basin At The Port Of Stylida. The Object Of The Project Is The Restoration Of Grades (Dredging) In The Port Basin And In The Navigation Channel Of The Port Of Stylidas. In Particular, The Dredging Of The Port Basin Will Be Done To A Level Of: -8.0 In The Area Of The Maneuvering Area Of Commercial Ships -3.5 And In The Area Of The Western Berth Of The Pier, -3.0 In The Eastern Area Of The Berths Of Fishing And Tourist Boats, -1.5 In The Northern Area Of The Fishing And Tourist Boat Wharves In The Northern Part Of The Main Port Basin, A Transitional Zone Is Planned Between The Existing Wharf (With A Level Of Approximately -3.0) And The Commercial Port Basin. With These Data, The Total Planned Dredging Area Of The Port Basin Is 175 M. In Addition, It Is Planned To Widen The Channel To A Bottom Width Of 70 M (To Accommodate Ships With Containers <10,000 Dwt) And To Deepen It To A Level Of -8.0.
