Applications will be Received up to 3.00 p.m. On 19.12.2024 for the Registration of Suppliers and Contractors for the Provision of Goods and Services. The Application is Given in the Website: www.seethawakapura.uc.gov.lk or a Self- Prepared Application should be Submitted. All Applications should be Sent to Reach the "Secretary, Seethawakapura Urban Council, Avissawella" along with the Registration Fee (Rs. 2,000.00 Per each Item). Cheques, Drafts should be Sent by Registered Post Drawn in Favour of "Secretary, Seethawakapura Urban Council, Avissawella" or else, be Deposited in Peoples Bank Account No. 029100190288966 and the Receipt / Bank Slip should be Sent along with the Application, Also Fees could be Paid in Cash during Office Hours (from 09.00 Hrs to 15.00 Hrs). The Top Left-Hand Corner of the Envelope Containing Applications should be Marked as "Registration of Suppliers - 2025". Conditions: 1. Generally, Quotations will be Called from Registered Suppliers/Contractors for Provision of Relevant Goods and Works and the Council Reserves the Right to Call Bids from outside Sources. 2. Bids should not be Changed and be Stable for a Period of 6 Months. 3. In Supplying Goods and Services should Abide by and be Subject to Government Approved Taxes/Conditions and Terms and Rules of the Sabha. 4. Chairman and the Tender Committee will Decide from Whom Goods and Services to be Obtained upon the Recommendation of Tender Evaluation Committee. 5. Suppliers/Contractors should not be of the View that the Sabha is Bound to Obtain Supplies and Services only Themselves by Registering with Sabha. Criteria: 1. Names of Suppliers Who Fail to Submit Bids Duly and Supply Goods / Services on Time and Who Fail to Supply Goods in Good Quality According to the Details and the Specimen Given in the Order will be Removed from the Register. 2. With Regard to Repairing of Vehicles and Machinery, the Experience in Providing Similar Services to State Institutions Earlier will be Treated as a Special Qualification. 3. Should Mention the Validity Period of Goods and Services Which have a Validity Period. 4. All Goods Relevant to the Order should be Delivered to the Main Stores of the Sabha. 5. Building Construction Material should be Transported to the Urban Council Premises. Documents Required to be Registered with the Sabha. 1. Separate Applications should be Submitted to be Registered as Suppliers/Contractors for each of the Services. 2. If Supplier/Contractor Wishes to be Registered for More than One Service, the Application Fee for each Respective Service should be Paid. 3. If a Corporation, the Certificate of Registration should be Provided. 4. If a Sole Proprietorship, the Registration Certificate. 5. If a Company, the Registration Certificate in Terms of Companies Act. 6. If a Firm Paying for Vat, the Vat Registration Certificate.
