The Primary Objective Is To Tackle Key Constructability Challenges And Reduce Uncertainty In The Project Scope During The Design Phase, Before Transitioning Into The Construction Phase. The Project Will Involve The Supply And Installation Of A Submersible Vaughan Chopper Pump, With The Exact Model To Be Confirmed. Additionally, The Contractor Will Be Responsible For Supplying And Replacing Mechanical Piping And Valves, As Well As Installing A New Motor Control Unit (Mcc) Equipped With Variable Frequency Drives (Vfds), Breakers, An Automatic Transfer Switch (Ats), And Wiring. Various Instrumentation And Control Systems Will Also Be Supplied And Installed. The Contractor Will Need To Plan And Oversee Lift Station Bypass Pumping Operations. Structural Work Will Include Expanding The Building To Accommodate The Installation Of An Odour Control Unit, Along With Associated Building Mechanical, Hvac, And Plumbing Systems. Lastly, The Project Will Include Site Civil Restoration Work.
