Trc Has Received Funding Approval For The Replacement Of The Branchview Road Bridge As Part Of The Australian Government’S Bridges Renewal Program (Brp) Round Six. Council Intends To Keep The Existing Timber Bridge Until The New Two Span Concrete Bridge Is Completed On A Different Alignment South Of Existing Bridge. This Will Allow Existing Bridge To Continue To Be Used For Traffic During Construction. The Bridge Is Located About 40Km West Of Pittsworth On Branchview Road And Spans The Condamine River (North Branch) Between Ladner Road And Brookstead Norwin Road. Refer Figure 2.As Part Of The Procurement Strategy, Council Wishes To Procure Pre-Cast, Prestressed, Reinforced Concrete Bridge Components And Have Them Delivered To Site, Piles To Be Delivered Prior To Driving And Stacked Close To Respective Abutment / Pier (Free On Ground). Deck Units To Be Craned Into Place Direct From Truck And Invoiced By The Manufacturer As Detailed In Section 3.Council Is Seeking Tenders From Experienced Concrete Pre-Casting Companies To Undertake The Casting Of All Bridge Pre-Cast Components.
