The Materials Sciences Working Group (Joint Lab Biber) Of The Faculty Of Chemistry Deals With The Synthesis And Characterization Of Halide Perovskites And Their Applications In Perovskite Solar Cells (Pscs). A Current Topic, Which Is Currently Being Investigated Widely In Our Group, Is Self-Organizing Monolayers (Sams), Which Are Used As Intermediate Layers In Pscs And Can Significantly Increase Their Efficiency And Stability. For Our Research On The Topic Of Sams, We Want One For Our Laboratories In Bielefeld Quartz Crystal Microbalance With Dissipation Measurement (Qcm-D) Must Be Purchased To Monitor The Process Of Forming Monolayers Of Various Sam-Forming Molecules On Surfaces Relevant To Pscs Such As Ito, To Be Able To Examine And Quantify Tio2 Or Sno2. The Instrument Must Have The Highest Possible Measurement Accuracy And Stability In Order To Be Able To Precisely Detect Differences Between The Individual Systems Examined. Furthermore, The Device Must Be Robust Against Organic Solvents Commonly Used In The Processes (E.G. Chlorobenzene Or Dimethylformamide). In Order For Sams To Be Used In A Solar Cell, The Physical Properties And Stability Of The Monolayer Under Tension And Irradiation With Light Are Also Of Great Importance. It Is Therefore Planned To Expand The System In The Future To Include The Possibility Of Illuminating The Sample During The Measurement As Well As The Possibility Of Electrochemical Measurements. Irradiation Of The Sample And Electrochemical Measurements Should Also Be Possible At The Same Time. In Order To Enable A Simple Upgrade In The Future, The System Must Have A Modular Structure And Have The Necessary Extensions To Be Able To Carry Out Measurements Under The Conditions Mentioned. Control And Evaluation Software Is Also Part Of The Required Scope Of Services.
