Sewage Treatment Services – Riihimäki Water Treatment Sludge Further Treatment, Disposal And Transport Service. The Riihimäki Water Supply Company (Hereafter The Procurement Unit Or The Client) Requests Bids For The Further Treatment And Final Disposal Service Of Sewage Sludge, As Well As The Transport Service For Further Processing In Accordance With This Request For Tenders And Its Appendices. Processing And Final Disposal Of Mechanically Dried Digested Sludge Formed At The Riihimäki Wastewater Treatment Plant. The Dry Matter Content Of The Sludge Has Been 20-30% And The Amount Of Dried Sludge Is Approx. 4,000 T Per Year. The Dry Matter Content And Amount Of Sludge Are Not Binding. The Concentrations Of Harmful Metals In The Sludge Are Low And The Concentrations Were Below The Maximum Concentrations Of Organic Fertilizer And Organic Soil Improver Stated In Mmm Regulation 964/2023. The Concentrations For The Years 2022-2024 Are Presented In Appendix 2. This Is A Project Exceeding The Eu Threshold, To Which The Procurement Act For Special Sectors Applies. In This Procurement, The Lowest Price Is Used As The Basis For The Overall Economic Advantage. The Duration Of The Contract Period Is Two (2) Years And The Contract Includes The Possibility Of One (1) Two (2) Year Option (2+2). The Procurement Unit Does Not Commit To Specific Procurement Quantities, And The Contract Does Not Constitute An Exclusive Right For The Service Provider To Carry Out The Procurement. Bidders Have The Opportunity To Familiarize Themselves With The Sludge Unloading Site Before Submitting A Bid, But It Is Not A Condition For Submitting A Bid.
