This Request For Proposals (The “Rfp”) Is An Invitation By The District Of Squamish(The “District”) To Prospective Proponents To Submit Proposals For Xwu’Nekw Park Sea Dike & Upgrades,As Further Described In Section A Of The Rfp Particulars (Appendix D) (The “Deliverables”).Xwunekw Park (Pronounced Whoo-Nay-Oak) Is Located In Squamish, Bc On The Mamquam Blind Channel And Loggers Lane Between Victoria And Main Street.The Project Generally Consists Of Construction Of A New Vertical Sheet Pile Dike With Associated Required Ground Improvement, A Waterfront Walkway, An Integrated Habitat Enhancement Area For Intertidal Plantings, And A New Concrete Pier That Supports Fixed Gangways From The Dike Down To A Floating Dock On The Mamquam Blind Channel.
