Procurement Of Contract Ns8405 - Loddefjord Cemetery . A Small Cemetery Located Approx. 500 M North-East Of Loddefjord Church, Was Taken Into Use As Early As 1895. This Was Probably The Fenced Part Which Today Contains Burial Plots 04 And 05. A New Cemetery With A Burial Chapel Was Built Adjacent To The Old Cemetery In 1952. The Cemetery Was Most Recently Expanded In 1996. Loddefjord Cemetery Currently Contains 2,598 Coffin Graves And 1,614 Urn Graves. The Cemetery Also Has Two Burial Fields Arranged With Directional Graves. Loddefjord Cemetery Has Barely Enough Capacity And An Application Is Now Being Made To Establish The Name Minnelund At The Cemetery. The Area Has Previously Been Approved As A Field For General Urn Graves, But Has Not Been Used For This Purpose. The Client Has Engaged Akasia To Draw Up A Plan For A New Park Called Minnenlund. The Burial Site Has Greater Challenges With Stormwater Management. The Measure Therefore Includes The Establishment Of The Name Minnenlund On Field M10 And Measures To Improve The Stormwater Situation On The Burial Ground. The Plan For The New Memorial Grove Was Considered And Approved By The Bkf - Working Committee Of The Bergen Church Joint Council In A Meeting On 01.11.2023, Cf. Decision 56/23. It Is Assumed That The Municipality Agrees To The Plan.
