Seinäjoki Ammattikorkeakoulu Oy Is Requesting Bids For The Modernization Of The Zwick Equipment As Follows. This Is A Zwick 400 Kn Tensile Test Device, Which Was Originally Purchased In 1998. The Device Contains Hydraulic Jaws, Which Need A Separate Hydraulic Unit To Support Them. The Device Also Has A Mechanical Extensometer. The Tensile Tester Is Controlled By Analog Electronics, Controlled By The Tesxpert Ii Program On The Computer. The Device Is Used For Tensile, Compression And Bending Tests Of Material Samples And Small Structures. In Teaching Use, The Materials Can Vary Between Steel, Other Metals, Wood And Plastic, So The Related Software Is A Wide-Ranging, University-Licensed Software. Technology Has Developed Strongly In The Past Years, And Now The Time Has Come To Upgrade The Equipment From An Analog Control System To A Digital One. The Aim Of This Update Is To Bring The Equipment In Line With Todays Needs And To Expand Its Area Of Use In Accordance With The New Standards. The Laboratory Also Has A Zwick 100 Kn Universal Material Testing Device And A Toni Technik 3000 Kn Concrete Press, Which Are Controlled By The Same Testxpert Iii Software. The Test Files Can Be Transferred From One Device To Another, For Example, In A Situation Where Part Of The Test Series Has Been Done With A Zwick 100 Kn Device And Part Requires Higher Test Forces And Has Been Tested With A Zwick 400 Kn Device.
