Track Construction Works – Railway Access Branches To The New Cádiz Container Terminal (1St Phase). Recovery, Transformation And Resilience Plan-Funded By The European Union- Nextgenerationeu (Ca-083-24). The Port Authority Of The Bay Of Cádiz, Within Its Strategic Plan Includes The Promotion Of Lo-Lo Traffic In The Commercial Dock Of Cádiz Through The Construction Of A New Container Terminal (Ntc), Of Which Its First Phase Is Completed And Soon To Start The Second. The “Access To The New Container Terminal 2Nd Phase” Project Is Currently Being Tendered, Which Includes The Unfinished Works Of The Road Access Tunnel. The Present Action Contemplates Rail Access To The Terminal, Whose Route Runs Entirely Through Public Port Land, Part Of It Above The Tunnel Route. The Branch Will Be Connected To The Rfig Once Adif Executes The Link Section Of Approximately 111 Meters. This Project Includes The Necessary Works To Execute The Railway Branch That Will Connect The Ntc With The Rfig. The Project Is Divided Into Two Execution Phases, The First Being The Object Of This Project, Which Will Begin At A Point On The Border Of The Port Area With The City And Will Be Long Enough To Accommodate Convoys Of Approx. 500 M Long. Upon Reaching The Terminal, A Second Branch Is Derived That Will Act As An Escape Route For The Tractor Machine, Thus Forming The Track Bank. In A Second Phase, Not Belonging To This Project, The Extension Of Both Roads Will Be Carried Out, Which Will Allow Convoys Of Up To 750 M To Be Accommodated. The Layout Will Be Carried Out Thinking About A Possible Expansion Of The Track Pool, In Terms Of The Number Of Operating Tracks In The Terminal. The Structural Solution Selected Is That Of A Slab Track Of Iberian Gauge. The Project Includes All The Elements For Its Operation With The Necessary Safety And Signaling Measures, And Will Contemplate The Solution To All The Affected Services That Are On Its Layout. The Project Has Been Selected For Financing Through Mrr Funds For Contributing To Rail Port Accessibility.
