The Work To Be Carried Out Consists Of Removing Local Subsidence And Road Narrowings At 24 Locations In The Roadway Of The Soemeersingel. This Is The Result Of, Among Other Things, Settlement Due To The Settling Of Peat In The Subsoil. The Current Paving Construction Will Be Replaced By A New Paving Construction. The Work Mainly Consists Of: • Demolition Work; • Excavating The Sand Cunet And/Or Foundation Layer; • Excavating And Storing Peat Layers; • Filling The Cunet With Sand; • Reinstalling The Foundation Layer; • Applying An Asphalt Pavement; • Installing A Concrete Apron As An Edge Barrier; • Applying Temporary Facilities; • Work Of A General Nature.
