Speed Monitoring In The Olpe District Fines Office Is Carried Out With Six Stationary (Star Boxes/Pillars) And Two Mobile Ones (Radar Cars And Semistation) Speed Monitoring Systems. Two Of The Stationary Speed Monitoring Systems Are Still Equipped With The Old Radar Technology. These Are Located In The Towns Of Welschen-Ennest And Attendorn. The Goal Is To Set Up All Radar Columns With New Columns With Laser Technology By The End Of 2024. The Laser Scanner Systems Do Not Require Sensors Built Into The Road Surface. The Speed Of Vehicles Is Determined Using Non-Contact Sensors.
