Tenders are invited for Supply of Apiary and its Accessories Akendeyu, Kurmuk Woreda, Benishangul-Gumuz Region Description of the Items Bid Security amount Quantity OCBN/G/03/2024 Apiary and its Accessories 2000 USD See attached Bidding document 1. The Intergovernmental Authority on Development (IGAD project now invites sealed bids from eligible bidders for the Supply of Farm Implements for South Sudan. 2. Bidding will be conducted through the Open Competitive Bidding ( OCB) procedures as specified in the IGADs Procurement Manual Revised 2021 and is open to all eligible Bidders as defined in the Procurement Manual . 3. Interested eligible Bidders may obtain further information and inspect the bidding document during office hours at the address given below from Monday to Friday at 800HRS to 1500HRS EAT. 4. The bidding document in English may be obtained by interested eligible Bidders upon the submission of a written application to the address below. Attention is drawn to the Procurement Framework requiring the Borrower to disclose information on the successful bidders beneficial ownership, as part of the Contract Award Notice, using the Beneficial Ownership Disclosure Form as included in the bidding document The Bid Security shall be in the amount specified in the BDS and denominated in US Dollars, and shall: (a) at the bidders option, be in the form of either a letter of credit, or a bank guarantee from a banking institution; (b) be issued by a reputable banking institution selected by the bidder and located in any eligible country as specified in the BDS. If the institution issuing the bond is located outside the Contracting Authoritys Country, it shall have a correspondent financial institution located in the Contracting Authoritys Country to make it enforceable. (c) be substantially in accordance with the form of Bid Security included in Section IV, Bidding Forms, or other form approved by the Contracting Authority prior to bid submission; Bid shall include a Bid Security of USD 2,000.00 (issued by bank) in the form specified in Section IV Bidding Forms. Experience as Contractor, in at least [Three] contracts within the last Five (5) years, each with a value of at least 150,000 USD that have been successfully and substantially completed and that are similar to the proposed works.
