The Ready-To-Use Test Stand To Be Delivered With A Manufacturers Guarantee Of At Least One Year From The Day Of Delivery On Site Is Used To Examine Pem Fuel Cells (5 Cm2 To 50 Cm2 Active Area). The Test Stand Should Be Able To Ensure The Feasibility Of Fuel Cell Tests At Currents Up To 120 Amps (Or Higher) And Voltages Up To 5 V (Or Higher), And Enable A Power Of 450 W (Or Higher). Operation Must Be Fully Automated And Possible Unsupervised. Common Investigation Methods From Electrochemistry And Fuel Cell Research Are Used (Chronoamperometry, Chronopotentiometry, Impedance Spectroscopy, Cyclic Voltammetry). To Use These Methods, A Gamry Potentiostat Reference 3000 Should Be Used. The Potentiostat Is Not Part Of The Service Description, But Is Available. The Components In Contact With The Gaseous Media Hydrogen, Oxygen And Carbon Monoxide Must Be Corrosion-Resistant To Avoid Degradation Effects Caused By Test Stand Components (I.E. No Elements Must Be Released From The Materials That Are Potentially Harmful To Components Of The Fuel Cell Hardware). The Gas Feed To The Anode And Cathode Must Be Able To Be Controlled Separately, Whereby A Gradual Changeover Of The Gas Flow Must Occur Automatically Between The Respective Mass Flow Controllers In Order To Avoid Pressure Surges Within The Gas Lines And The Cell. Both The Temperature Control And Pressure Control On The Anode And Cathode Must Be Able To Be Regulated Independently Of Each Other.
